The much-awaited Vanity Fair Oscar Party was held just right after the 85th Annual Academy Awards, at the Sunset Tower in LA last Feb 24th, 2013. The celebration was attended by some of the brightest names in Hollywood, which includes Oscar winners, major industry producers, as well as some of the country’s billionaires. The star-studded event has been a tradition for Graydon Carter, editor of Vanity Fair, who has been facilitating this luxurious affair since 1992. Ben Affleck, Daniel Day-Lewis, Christopher Waltz, and Ang Lee were among the Oscar winners who graciously accepted the invite and walked down the red carpet with their well-deserved statuettes, all smiling proudly as photos were taken of them entering the grand after-party event.
Superstars Halle Berry, Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, and Jennifer Aniston with fiancé Justine Theroux were spotted chatting with each other. Female winners of this year’s Academy Awards, headed by Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence with Anne Hathaway, were also seen carrying their mini Oscars as they enter the venue. Other important personalities who came to the party were Google co-founder Sergey Brin, wearing the much talked about Google glasses and Larry David, who proposed a toast to the power couple Sacha Baron Cohen and wife Isla Fisher. With all the big names that were included on the guest list, it was no doubt that the Vanity Fair Oscar Party was indeed one star-studded celebration.
Among the attendees was also Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens. The 24-year old actress just came back from her European trip and fortunately made it on time for the grand Vanity Fair event. She was spotted with Selena Gomez, yet another star from the upcoming movie, Spring Breakers. Vanessa Hudgens was certainly one of the best-dressed celebrities of the evening. She wore a classy gold Moschino gown that perfectly hugged her curves in all the right places. Her ensemble looked classier with her raven curls and sparkling jewelries from Jacob & Co. The actress was spotted wearing one of Jacob Arabov’s creations – dazzling Multi Gem Earrings, featuring brown and white sapphires of over 69 carats and precious rubies, diamonds, and emeralds of over five carats.
Julie Bowen was also one of the many celebrities who looked like a goddess in her Max Azria Atelier gown which she accessorized with luxurious jewelry pieces from the famed New York jewelry designer. Julie Bowen, the actress who plays the endearing character Claire Dunphy of the hit sitcom Modern Family, completed her stunning dress and Judith Lieber clutch with round brilliant cut micro-pave diamond stud earrings, consisting of over two carat diamonds in a beautiful platinum setting.
