The National Association of Theatre Owners pulled off a truly memorable event as it hosted its annual week-long convention, CinemaCon 2013 last April 15 to 18. Aside from celebrating the movie going experience, CinemaCon Week is that time of year when cinema owners from across the country gather to discuss the current state of the motion picture theatre industry. In addition, new technologies and advancements in the world of theatre equipment and breakthrough concession products and services are being introduced to members and guests of The National Association of Theatre Owners.
Members highly benefit from this important trade show as they earn first-hand experience on the hottest trends in the motion picture theatre industry, which in turn enables them to adapt to positive changes and reel in more profit for their business. For 2013, CinemaCon was held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Almost 6,000 theatre owners were in attendance during the 4-day trade show. The convention featured exciting products and services such as the newest hybrid in popcorns, latest stadium seat versions, and preview of potential summer blockbusters including Brad Pitt’s World War Z, Hunger Games’ second installment, Catching Fire, Man of Steel, and Star Trek Into Darkness.
It was during the third day of CinemaCon that Sony Pictures Entertainment set forth its Grown Ups 2 cast of characters in assisting the label to promote their highly anticipated film slate to thousands of participants at the convention. Adam Sandler, Salma Hayek, Kevin James, and David Spade were spotted at CinemaCon while fellow film co-stars Maya Rudolph and Chris Rock joined them on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that same afternoon. During the promotion of Grown Ups 2 during CinemaCon, male stars of the film were dressed down in casual t-shirts and jeans which only made Salma Hayek, the Hispanic beauty, stand out and look more radiant than ever.

Salma’s Jacob Arabov custom-made earrings matched her jasmine green Gucci Spring 2013 silk belt blouse, unhammed pants, and a pair of brown leather heels. Sony Pictures’ film, Grown Ups 2 headed by Adam Sandler which features Salma Hayek among others is slated to open on July 12, 2013.
